A pair of chandelier Indian wedding earrings handcrafted in gold with their design centered around the crescent and flower motifs.
The top of these gold earrings is a 10-petaled rosette, dressed in polki/uncut diamonds and colored gemstones using the traditional jadai technique and bordered with red meena. From the rosette are suspended three graduated inverted chaand/crescent units, also kundan-set in diamonds and precious stones and bordered with red meena. Clusters of seed pearls and enamel beads are suspended from the rosette and the tips of each chaand. A rosette-like unit, with a solitary gemstone and seed pearl fringe finshes the earring.
An emblem of peace and calm, the crescent moon symbolizes the Great Divine Mother (Shakti) and female power.
